The monster power cleaner has made my lcd tv have a better picture my stereo sound better.reassures me my equipment is safe in storms & power outages it is a must have item.
I have one (which I found new for $169) and use it as a power center for powering up my home theater in sequence. However, I give only 3 stars for value. For what this unit does, it should cost $175 at the most. It has a 12 volt tigger that works well with the tigger output from my Outlaw Audio pre/pro. It does a nominal job at "cleaning up" the power - the power stages of your components (unless they were made before 1950) should do more than an adequate job of "cleaning the signal" so that should never be the selling point of one of these units.
Also, surround sound system. I paid 137.00 in Sep 2006. I purchased this product after extensive online researching and field viewing in stores such as CC and BB. I know I have clean sound and picture using the 3500. Received the product NEW and fast. I use it for Samsung LCD HDTV, PS2 and HD DVD player. I have no complaints, it does what it is built to do. If you have high end sound and picture electronics, at least get something to protect it, recommend the 3500.
I don't know how well it really works but I feel safer using the Monster Reference PowerCenter HTS 3500 MKII.up grading from the Monster power bar 1100.I chose the HTS 3500 MKII for it's rear inputs giving me a cleaner install AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT.
Many people think this product is a concept looking for a problem that does not exist. They are wrong. My 5 channel power amp used to make relatively loud noises intermittantlybut that is gone now. Less hiss too. I don't have time to tell you all of it butits a worthwhile expenditure for your home theater.
